Story
I am taking part in Walk 60 Miles in March for Teenage Cancer Trust!
My daughter was diagnosed with stage 4 Adrenal Cancer at the age of 20.
1 in 3 million Young People are diagnosed with this cancer each year so it’s super rare.
She will be 22 in March and her story is still ongoing despite major surgery and chemotherapy.
’you have cancer’ is a phrase no-one wants to hear let alone a young Adult expecting to embark on the next chapter of their life.
For a parent it is heartbreaking to see them go though it.
You expect as a parent you can always find a solution to your children’s problems .. Cancer doesn’t allow this.
The Teenage Cancer Trust provides vital support for young people and families in this situation .
Please support if you can…TCT is amazing … you can read their story below as to how your money can help …
Thankyou … Adele
Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.
Every £25 donation provides an hour to talk. A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they're needed most.
