Story
Hi, I’m Adele and thanks for supporting my fundraising.
In January 2011 I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma and I was under the care of the Macmillan cancer unit in Milton Keynes (the picture is from one of my chemotherapy sessions). The whole support from diagnosis through to today has been fantastic, and they are still supporting me as I go for a yearly check up. I have thankfully been in remission since September 2011.
In March 2025 I lost my wonderful Mum who had breast cancer and unfortunately it spread across her body.
To remember my Mum and for the support that Macmillan have given me I would like to raise money for them by doing a parachute jump. All of the money pledged by you will go to Macmillan as the parachute jump was a present for my 50th Birthday.
Thanks for your time and support.
The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, and every one of them needs the best support to meet their unique needs.
That's why Macmillan will do whatever it takes to help everyone living with cancer across the UK get the support they need right now and transform cancer care for everyone who will be diagnosed in the future.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving, once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.
