Saffires is a joint-church ministry in Leicester, seeking to share God’s restoring love with women in Leicester’s sex industry. We aim to provide pastoral care, practical support, positive life skills and access to relevant services to women working in the sex industry in Leicester. We respect every woman’s individual choices, but should any woman choose to exit the sex industry we will support her to make informed life choices and on-going care. We seek to work in partnership with other organisations and statutory agencies in Leicester to ensure the best possible services and to address key issues surrounding prostitution in the city. Our work is underpinned by our Christian faith which shapes our policies and leads us to seek excellence in all aspects of our provision. We embrace the diversity of Leicester and aim to ensure all women, regardless of their culture, background or faith have equal opportunity to access services.
