This Ramadan, I am taking on the 1k Ramadan Challenge with Mission Relief to support the urgent hunger and drought crisis in Kenya. Kenya is currently on the brink of famine. The worst drought in the last 40 years and reports from the International Rescue Committee state 5.4 million people are without adequate access to food and water.. This fundraiser will be aiding the most vulnerable in Kenya including orphan children, families headed by women, families headed by the elderly and those who are physically disabled or chronically ill.

What will your donation go towards?

• A months supply of food to families whom are fasting this Ramadan

• Iftar meals to orphan children every day throughout Ramadan

• Clean water to areas affected by drought

• Water wells to areas with no access to clean water

• Women's hygiene product to provide them with dignity

• Eid gifts to orphan children whom get no support.
