Hello! With a grand total of one 10K race under my belt, I’ve decided to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon (21K) in April 2026 for Refugee Action.

None of us choose where we’re born, yet some privileged voices think they get to decide who deserves safety, freedom and opportunity. Refugees make up just 0.5% of the UK population, yet far-right, racist narratives, often echoed by media and politicians, continue to scapegoat them for society’s problems.

We’re seeing the consequences in protests, attacks, and the use of St George’s flags to intimidate communities. But goodness is always stronger than hate. Refugee Action has stood for humanity, fairness and inclusion since 1981, and I’m proud to support them.
