Welcome to my Young Advocates (YAC) fundraiser page and thank you for visiting!

The YAC is an official Affinity Group at the North Texas Food Bank (NTFB) made up of 86 dedicated and entrepreneurial high school students from across the DFW metroplex.

Currently, in its fifth year, the YAC spends each school year learning about food insecurity in North Texas, volunteering at NTFB, and organizing fundraisers to benefit the food bank and provide nutritious food for hungry children, families, and seniors.

This year, the Young Advocates worked hard to design and create tote bags for the Spring 'Help Bag Hunger' fundraiser. As a co-chair of this fundraiser, I helped test which forms of fabric painting would create the intended lasting results. Your donations can enable you to receive our tried-and-true hand-painted tote bags!

Our total goal is $8,000 and we need your help! Thank you for feeding North Texans facing hunger. Every dollar counts!
