I’m raising money for the Chestnut Street YMCA because this place is more than a building — it’s a legacy, a lifeline, and a home for community. As a board member and part of our Advocacy & Public Relations Committee, I’ve seen firsthand how the Y transforms lives through scholarships, safe spaces, mentorship, and programs that center dignity and opportunity. Chestnut Street has a long history of uplifting Black families in Louisville, and today that mission is just as important as ever.
