Adrian and his brother Daniel are raising funds for a new playground at the Ridgeway School, which Daniel attends.

The Ridgway School is a special school in Farnham, Surrey, supporting the needs of children aged 2-19 with severe and profound multiple learning difficulties, additional and complex needs.

Daniel loves playgrounds, and is lucky that he can enjoy several different ones, but for many of these children ordinary playgrounds are not suitable. The school hopes to completely revamp the whole play area and ensure that there is a space for every pupil.

Adrian and Daniel both love walking and plan to walk from the Ridgeway School to Frensham Great Pond via Bourne Woods, Farnham Heath and Frensham Little Pond, a distance of about six miles.

Adrian’s 8th birthday is coming up soon, and he has asked for people to sponsor him to raise money for his brother’s school rather than give him presents.

Neither of them have ever walked this far before, but we are sure they can do it!
