Parish Walk around the Isle of Man 84 mile walk in 24 hours · 21 June 2025
Hi my name is Adrian I am 68 years old, on June 21st the longest day, I am going to walk the longest walk I have ever done in 24 hours.
I am going to attempt to do the Parish Walk around the Isle of Man touching every Church gate, which is a total of 84 miles, yes I must be mad!
Since moving to Herefordshire I have come to find out about St Michael’s Hospice based in Bartestree. They provide impatient services, hospice daycare and support for patients in a range of setting, including their own homes. They are also there to ensure loved ones have access to the appropriate care and support they need to cope with the complex feelings and lifestyle changes caused by a terminal illness.
I have spent the last 6 months training, walking around the local beautiful countryside around Ledbury and Hereford. I have also done a couple of long organised walks of 30, and 40 miles.
I am very much looking forward to this challenge, and to raise some funds for such a worth local cause, so please be generous and donate as every pound counts.
