Story

Directors detained - GMcG directors to serve time at Crumlin Road Gaol!

That’s not a headline we thought we would ever see in print. But we’re very excited to announce that time behind bars will become a reality for our directors on Friday 25 September. And it’s all for a very good cause - GMcG’s major fundraiser for our 2026 charity partner, Cancer Focus NI.

The countdown is well and truly on until GMcG directors Susan Dunlop, Gabriel Greene, Nigel Moore, Gill Johnston, Stephen Houston and Paul Black will be banished to Belfast’s Crumlin Road Gaol, to serve time for some of the most unspeakable crimes.

Our directors will spend a long day at Crumlin Road Gaol and it will be far from fun and games. From solitary confinement to mopping floors and making beds, a range of different tasks and punishments will provide our esteemed convicts with some time to reflect on their crimes.

Back in March of this year, a significant number of Portadown office employees witnessed Gill leaving her cup in the sink, not the dishwasher. It gets worse. Nigel is alleged to have lifted a second caramel square at our most recent ‘Thursday Treats’. Evidence is still being collated, but the case is strong. Paul still hasn’t paid up for GMcG’s ‘Name the Easter Bunny’ competition and Gabriel, an ardent Liverpool fan, has been spotted numerous times at Old Trafford, cheering on Bruno Fernandes (the true definition of a concurrent offence). Hard labour should be introduced specifically for that one.

Susan failed to notice the growing stash of umbrellas in her office while Stephen continues to believe there is absolutely no issue with taking up two parking spaces at the Lisburn office. The prosecution strongly disagrees. Guilty as charged, we say.

Jailtime will be served and more details will follow on how you can nominate your favourite director to endure some additional punishment!

Most importantly, it’s all for a very worthy cause – Cancer Focus NI. GMcG, and especially our team of law breakers, would greatly appreciate your support.

Thank you!!
