Story
Living with cystic fibrosis (CF) is a daily challenge. The sticky mucus that builds up in our lungs and digestive system affects not only our physical health but also our mental wellbeing. It's a constant battle, but we are not alone. More than 10,800 people in the UK are facing this uphill journey alongside us. Many may not even realize they carry the faulty gene responsible for CF. Despite the obstacles, we remain united in our pursuit of effective treatment for all. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is at the forefront of this mission, bringing together a community dedicated to stopping CF.
On my Birth Day- 15th May, I will be participating in the BIG SHAVE :) (see the pictures) - a personal challenge aimed at raising awareness and funds for CF research. This event holds great significance as it symbolizes hope and solidarity within our community. Your support will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those affected by CF, bringing us closer to a future free from its grip.
Join me in this journey towards better tomorrows for everyone touched by cystic fibrosis.
