I'm running (I use the word very loosely!) the Ali Brownlee 5K in June to raise a bit of money for Candlelighters, which is a fantastic local charity. Based in West Yorkshire, they raise funds to provide " light to families affected by childhood cancer by providing emotional, practical and financial support. We bring hope by investing in vital research to improve the outcomes and lives of children with cancer."

I am reassured by someone who has been directly involved with the charity that they are a really great cause, and definitely worth supporting!
