Story

Please support this great cause and bring a cure for Parkinson’s closer.

From September 4th, I’ll be part of a team taking on the 200 mile Celtic Challenge - cycling from Edinburgh to the Isle of Iona over 4 gruelling days.

My Dad has suffered from Parkinson’s for a number of years now. I see first hand how this cruel debilitating condition has so utterly changed his life and heavenly impacted those around him. He now needs round the clock care and is more reliant than ever on the patience and resources of others.

It’s so sad that there is still no cure available for Parkinson’s. While it might not help my Dad, at least a cure would help those many thousands, or even millions, that wil be future sufferers.

But there is hope. Cure Parkinson's is a fantastic charity, dedicated entirely to cutting edge research, bringing together leading experts to find new treatments to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson’s.

I know there’s plenty of good causes out there vying for your hard earned generosity, but it would be fantastic if you can please give generously and help fund a Cure for Parkinson's… and every £ donated will be matched by my employer Barclays (up to £1k), so it will be extra worthwhile! Thanks!
