Place 2Be need your help to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young peoples mental health

Altruism Extending Care Corp (AECC) has been giving scholarships to graduating seniors for over eight years. The founder Denise Mitchell of AECC is a Licensed Nurse and has been using her money to give positive memories through scholarships to graduating seniors.

I lost my mother in a car accident when I was nine years old and grew up in different Foster Homes. I raised five beautiful children as a single mother, my fourth born died by suicidal hanging.

April 2024 AECC will be having a dinner with guest speakers and announcing the schools who will be awarded scholarships for the 2023-2024 school year, followed by reception.

By giving scholarships keeps all the positive memories alive and to have the pleasure of giving another child a smile is well worth it.

50% of fundraising will go directly to In Aid of Place2Be and

50% of fundraising will go towards scholarships.

Little Stars is aimed at children under eleven, although children of all ages and abilities can join the Little Stars fun. However, you get involved, the money you raise will help get closer to a future where every child has easy access to mental health support.
