Gem and Katie - Jo from Alderley Edge Dental have signed up to run the Manchester 10K… despite none of us currently being runners 🏃‍♀️

So this will definitely be a challenge.

We’re doing it to raise money for a charity that means a lot to us, the David Lewis Centre.

We support The David Lewis Centre throughout the year and see first-hand the incredible work they do for people with complex needs.

This run also feels especially personal.

We’re also joined by our friend Mercedes from High Peak Dental Care. Her sister was a resident at The David Lewis Centre during her life, and the care and support she received there meant so much to her and her family. Very sadly, her sister has recently passed away, so we will all be running in her memory.

For all of us, this is more than just a 10K (especially given our current fitness levels).

It is about doing something that challenges us, coming together, and supporting a charity that truly makes a difference.
