Earlier this year, my mother was diagnosed with bowel cancer, making the mission of Bowel Research UK deeply personal to both of us. In the UK alone, bowel cancer claims over 16,000 lives each year, and more than a million people live with bowel diseases. To support their crucial work, my brother and I will be undertaking a series of fundraising activities and challenges over the coming months, culminating in running the London Marathon in April.

Bowel Research UK is at the forefront of life-changing research into bowel-related diseases. Your generous donations will directly support the development of advanced treatments and cutting-edge science. It will help save and improve lives, and hopefully eventually prevent anyone in the future from having to suffer from this.
