Help Keep Age Concern Cupar Open
Age Concern Cupar is facing one of the biggest challenges in our history, and we urgently need your support.
Our centre is a lifeline for many older people in the local community. Every day, we provide companionship, activities, a hot meal, and a welcoming place where people can connect, make friends, and find purpose. For many of our service users, the centre is their main source of social interaction and support.
Unfortunately, both of our buses are currently off the road and require significant repairs, costing around £10,000. These buses are essential for transporting our service users to and from the centre. Without them, many of the people who rely on us simply cannot attend.
As a result, we have had the heartbreaking decision to temporarily close our doors, leaving many vulnerable older people isolated and without the support they depend on.
At the same time, severe cuts to local authority funding have placed enormous financial pressure on our charity. Like many community organisations, we are struggling to meet rising costs while continuing to provide the services that are so desperately needed.
We have not set a fundraising target because every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Whether it's £5, £50, or more, your support will help us repair our buses, reopen our doors, and continue serving older people in our community.
Please consider donating and sharing our appeal with friends, family, and local businesses. Together, we can ensure that Age Concern Cupar remains a place of friendship, support, and care for those who need it most.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
