DeutscheBike 2025 - Slovenia and Italy

Agnese Edmonds is raising money for Dementia UK
This September, a group of Deutsche Bank employees will take on an epic cycle in Slovenia and Italy to raise vital funds to support families facing dementia.

Story

In September (18th - 21st) a group of us from Deutsche Bank will cycle from Slovenia to Italy over 4 days (approx 125 km/78 miles) each day totalling 520km/323 miles) for Dementia UK, a charity that we are partnering with for 2 years.

One in two of us will be affected by dementia in our lifetime. That’s half of Deutsche Bank employees. Half your family. Half your friends.

Every penny raised through the partnership will help drive Dementia UK’s mission of leading and delivering high quality, expert and accessible dementia care through its specialist Admiral Nurses.   Our partnership will also spread the word about the work of Admiral Nurses so more families know how to access their life-changing support, now and in the future.

Through employee fundraising and skill-sharing across the bank, our partnership will transform dementia care. Our two-year partnership has the potential to fund 30 new Admiral Nurses to support an additional 3,000 families affected by dementia.
