Story
I’ve never been a runner. In fact, I’ve always hated running.
If you’d told me a few months ago that I’d be training for a marathon—or even a 5K—I would’ve laughed.
So, why now?
The truth is, I was inspired. A very dear friend of ours, someone who has run marathons before, took on another one recently. But this time, something was different. Something happened that touched me deeply—and it sparked a fire in me. I felt an overwhelming desire not just to run, but to do it for a reason—to support families going through unimaginable pain.
I’ve always kept active—I go to the gym 3–4 times a week—but this felt like the next challenge, one with real purpose. So here I am: pushing myself every week, running further than I ever thought possible, in support of the incredible Bodie Hodges Foundation.
This charity does extraordinary work, offering hope and guidance to bereaved families as they navigate the heartbreaking journey of loss. No one should have to face that alone—and thanks to Bodie Hodges, many don’t.
If you can, please consider supporting this cause. Every donation, no matter how small, truly does make a difference. Together, we can help give grieving families the care, comfort, and compassion they so deeply deserve.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
