18 miles and a fun filled day - join us for some or all, please read on.
‘One in three people know someone affected by a brain tumour.’
Those are the stats but here I believe this to be much much higher.
The horrific stats for funding for this killer disease are shocking - just 1% of cancer research funding goes towards brain tumours yet it is the biggest killer in children and the under 40’s. This has to change and survival rates have not moved on in many years.
Step forward on Saturday 4th October and raise vital funds and awareness to find a cure for all types of brain tumours.
In honour of all those who are living with, battling with and have tragically lost their lives to this awful illness we have arranged a local Walk of Hope in Grimsby which will take in several cricket clubs and a few bars.
We thank you in advance for very penny given and hope many of you can join us on Saturday 4th October.
You can register to join us by paying a £5 registration to this page which will cover a T-shirt. Please note this must be done by 1st September to guarantee delivery but you can join us after that time, all welcome with or without registration. You can join us for the whole walk or a section of it. All welcome, young and old, the more the merrier even if you just join us in one of the cricket club stop offs and raise a glass or two with us, while putting pennies in our pots.
⭐️ IF REGISTERING PLEASE DONATE YOUR £5 FEE AND PUT ‘Registration ‘ AS NARRATIVE and then contact me with your T-shirt size or put on narrative too.
Or, please wear your T-shirt from a previous year.
Full details about timings and stops will be posted here soon so please watch this space.
Please share and share this page in order to raise much needed funds.
If you are taking part please pop all your much appreciated pennies in here too. Let’s smash this target which is half the raised amount of 2024.
Thank you.
