In July 2026, we’ll be taking on the biggest physical challenge of our lives - Tough Mudder.

If you know us, you’ll know that we are not natural athletes or fitness fanatics. In fact, this challenge feels completely outside of our comfort zone. But that’s exactly why we’re doing it.

Over the last 18 months, we’ve both been on a difficult but rewarding weight loss and health journey. There have been highs, setbacks, victories and moments where giving up would have been easier. But through it all, we’ve kept going, together.

As we prepare for marriage in October 2026, Tough Mudder represents so much more than just a race. It’s a milestone in our story. A symbol of growth, perseverance, faith, discipline and becoming stronger together.

Every mile, obstacle, climb and muddy struggle will represent how far we’ve already come and how far we still believe God will take us.

But we don’t want this challenge to just impact us. We’re taking this on to raise money for Project FIVE14 at Alive City Church, vision that is incredibly close to our hearts.

Project FIVE14 is inspired by Matthew 5:14:

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
