Rising concern over the continuing high level of fatal and life-changing injury accidents on farms prompted NFU Mutual to set up a charitable foundation to help all farmers, and especially young farmers, work more safely. The Foundation works closely with farmers, the farming unions and a range of farming organisations, including the Farm Safety Partnerships of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, to help reduce the toll of fatal and serious injury accidents which, regrettably, have made farming the most dangerous occupation in the UK. The Foundation's 'Yellow Wellies' campaign specifically targets young farmers aged 16 to 40 years of age.

Story

We’re riding 12,000+ miles across Europe and Central Asia on 125cc bikes, taking on the Mongol Rally 2025 to raise money for Yellow Wellies – The Farm Safety Foundation.

Farming is one of the UK’s most dangerous industries, not just physically but mentally. Yellow Wellies works to protect the well-being of farmers by raising awareness of farm safety and tackling the mental health crisis in agriculture through their ‘Mind Your Head’ campaign.

Every mile we ride is to support this cause—because no farmer should feel alone in their struggles. 100% of donations go straight to Yellow Wellies, funding vital resources and initiatives that help keep farmers safe, both physically and mentally.

If you can donate, we’d really appreciate it.
