Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am fortunate enough to have won a charity space at this year’s London Marathon. To mark what would have been my nephew Nivan’s 10th birthday, I am raising money for St George’s Hospital, a charity close to my family’s heart. Nivan was born at St George’s and spent the majority of his short but sweet life in their Neonatal Unit. The hospital provided exceptional care for my family and celebrated his milestones.

Some of my fondest memories are of the words of encouragement from the nurses—telling me to keep my head up when I shed a tear and teaching me how to change a nappy for the first time. I will forever be grateful for their support and am excited to use this opportunity to say thank you for their ongoing hard work.

All the money raised will make a real difference to the lives of thousands of patients and their families, as well as benefit the amazing team at St George’s and Queen Mary’s Hospitals. Funds will go toward new medical equipment, ward refurbishments, research, arts and music therapies, and much more.

So please donate whatever you can—every pound will help!

Thank you in advance & wish me luck!
