Saema Nureen is raising money for Karima

Young Pilgrims Hajj Walk - Karima · 24 May 2025

For over two decades, The Karima al Marwaziyya Foundation has been at the forefront of nurturing faith, knowledge, and service in the High Wycombe community and beyond. Help us establish our new community home with a masjid at it's heart.

Story

Assalamu Alaikum

My name is Ahmad Sharif and I am 10 years old. I am raising money for Karima Foundation where I will be doing a 10 kilometre walk and I would be grateful if you could sponsor me. All of the money raised will go to Karima and will be used to build a new centre which will be a place of learning and fun.

Karima has played a huge part in my life by helping me to learn more about Islam and the world. At the moment, I learn Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, take Islamic lessons in Saturday School and I am part of the 29th High Wycombe Karima Scouts group. By donating money, you will help me to help Karima build a place where we can all learn lots of different things.

On the day of Arafat (the day of Hajj itself) the pilgrims undergo a journey where they move from the plains of Arafat to Muzdalifah. On Saturday 24th May, I will be walking 10 kilometre to copy this journey. We will also be learning about Islamic stories surrounding Hajj and reciting dhikr. Please consider sponsoring me so I can raise money for an important organisation in my life. Please also share with your family and friends - JazakAllah Khair.
