Dear brothers and sisters, Our beloved father Muhammad Aslam Uddin, returned to our Lord on Friday the 15th of September after losing his battle with MND

He was a family man with such a good heart. He spent most of his life dedicated to Islamic Dawah, serving his community and charity work.

Muhammad Aslam Uddin had set up a family charity called *Ahmad Foundation Trust (AFT)* (Charity No. 1198751).

AFT is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of Adam Academy, a Hifz school in the Oiya region of Balaganj Upazila, Bangladesh.

This fundraising appeal will support this beautiful tradition by sponsoring poor students in Bangladesh to memorise the Book of Allah. Students whose families cannot afford a teacher are given monthly cash assistance to help realise their ambition insha Allah

We are aiming to raise £10,000 to support the building of an orphanage for our students. The Hifz school currently has 14 students who are studying full time. Building this orphanage will - insha Allah - help increase that number for more students to live and study the book of Allah

Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: “Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status." (Muslim Vol. 4, Hadith 6264).

Sadaqah Jariyah is a continuous and ongoing charity. It is one of the most rewarding deeds as its benefits can be reaped now and continue to benefit us after we have returned to our Lord.

May Allah grant our beloved Father the highest ranks in Jannah. Ameen
