Shaykh Sayyid Abdul Qadir Jilani ﻕ said: “A morsel of food for the stomach of a hungry person is better than building a 1,000 mosques, better than covering the Kaaba with an expensive cloth, better than he who stood in prayer and prostration and better than he who fasts the whole year in continuous heat, and when the flour or meal descends to the stomach of a hungry person, it has a Nur (divine light) that rivals the light of the sun. So glad tidings to the one who feeds the hungry.”
