I was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma in June 2023, a type of blood Cancer, treatable but not curable.

Since then I've been fighting with all my strength to survive to this disease, which doesn't choose age, gender, race, or religion.

I went through 6 months of intense Chemotherapy and, like many other women, I am experiencing the side effects post Chemo.

It affect us all, directly or indirectly, those who may experience it, have a loved one who has experienced it or just heard about it.

Cancer could be fought without support, no matter if it's from a family member, a friend, a doctor a nurse, pet or a Charity.

I am grateful to God, my family, my friends and those who are supporting me throughout this journey.

I found Black Women Rising, when I most needed mental a emotional support, where other women of colour come together to share their stories, their challenges, their emotions without judgement, giving love and support to each other.

Black Women Rising is a Charity close to my heart and for that reason I've decided to give back the love and support. YOU GIRLS ROCK !
