Story
I'm taking on IRONMAN Leeds on Sunday 27th July in aid of CLL Support.
The IRONMAN involves completing a 2.4-mile swim, a 112-mile bike ride, and a 26.2-mile run.
I've chosen to raise money for CLL Support because my uncle Marc has been personally affected by Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL). This diagnosis has had a profound impact on him and our whole family. Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness with Marc, and support others like him who are navigating life with CLL.
CLL Support is a UK-based, patient-led charity dedicated to helping those affected by CLL and SLL (Small Lymphocytic Lymphoma), as well as their families and carers. CLL is the most common type of adult leukaemia in the UK, and support for those affected is crucial.
Your donation will help CLL Support to:
- Run free patient conferences across the UK, giving people access to expert advice and peer support.
- Provide a dedicated helpline, staffed by volunteers with lived experience of CLL.
- Offer up-to-date newsletters and online information on treatments and research.
- Deliver emotional wellbeing resources to support patients and families through the challenges of living with CLL.

All services are free, and the charity is run by volunteers without government funding—so every pound you give makes a meaningful difference.
Please consider donating. Together, we can support Marc, his family, and thousands of others affected by CLL.
Thank you so much for your support!
