Witnessing Dad spend over a month in hospital and a successful triple bypass let our family and I see first hand the astonishing job the staff do on these wards - often overworked and underpaid considering the literally life or death sort of work they are involved in.

The main object of the Heart Trust Fund is the financial support of the vitally important work of treating patients in the Medical Cardiology Centre of the Royal Victoria Hospital, and the equally important work of research into heart disease carried out there.

I’ll be taking part in the famous Mourne Seven Sevens challenge to raise money and show our appreciation for the work they do and to acknowledge the work done by all our family & friends who supported Dad and visited him every single day x

About the challenge:

The Original Mourne Seven Sevens is an 19 mile, 8500ft test of endurance and mountain skills . The objective is to climb all seven peaks in the Mourne Mountains that are over 700m* above sea level following your own route between fixed checkpoint.
