Stick 'n' Step supports children with cerebral palsy from across North Wales and the North West of England to help maximise their independence through providing free conductive education therapy. Since 2002 the charity has grown from strength to strength supporting over 100 children every week.

Story

I’m running the London Marathon in 2025 to raise funds for Stick 'N' Step, an incredible charity based in the North West of England that’s been a huge support for Sofia, the daughter of my friends Charlotte and Roger.

Sofia has cerebral palsy, which means she spends a lot of time working on physiotherapy to stay well and build strength. It’s a tough routine, especially for a youngster who, much like any kid, would rather be having fun than pushing through exercises!

That’s where Stick 'N' Step has made such a difference. By providing free conductive education, they help children with cerebral palsy lead fuller, stronger lives. They offer an understanding and encouraging environment, where children like Sofia are empowered to reach their goals in a supportive, fun way.

For Sofia and her family, having Stick 'N' Step on their side means everything. They know they have people who genuinely care and share in their goals for Sofia’s future.

I’m committed to running the 26.2 miles of the London Marathon to support Stick 'N' Step’s mission, and I’m asking for your help. Every donation will help ensure this fantastic charity can continue making a difference for children and their families. Please consider donating to support my run for Stick 'N' Step - together, we can help them keep up the amazing work.
