As the Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist for Teenage and Young Adults with Cancer (TYA) at the Beatson, I lead a dedicated team covering the West of Scotland. Our mission is to provide age appropriate care and holistic support to patients aged 16-25 facing a cancer diagnosis in this region. The Beatson Cancer Charity plays a crucial role in supporting our efforts through funds and grants, ensuring that patients and their families receive the assistance they need. I am participating in the 'Teenage and Young Adults with Cancer Skydive with Beatson Cancer Charity' event on August 17th, 2025, to raise awareness of TYA patients' needs and to raise funds to support them on their journeys.
