Story
I'm taking on 100 Miles in October for Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
Just over a year ago on the 23rd August 2025, I lost my beautiful best friend Kayzie Skye to suicide at the age of 15. She was the most kind, funny, crazy, loving and imaginative young lady and her passing impacted everyone so deeply as she is so loved. I want to take on this challenge with my family to raise awareness and money around suicide and mental health to honour Kayzie and to move forward in saving lives and battling suicide.
CALM exists to support everyone through the messy, beautiful reality of being human. We make suicide prevention part of people’s daily lives. From our life-saving helpline, through to our practical tips, advice and resources - all our tools are designed to help you look after yourself and the people you care about.
Something we say a lot at CALM is that stopping suicide starts with all of us - one act at a time. No matter how big or small.
And by taking on 100 Miles in October, I'm playing my part in uniting against suicide.
Every £12.20 I raise could pay for a life-saving call to CALM's suicide prevention helpline. Helping more people to see a way forward.
Thank you for joining me in uniting against suicide.
