Aiden's fundraiser for Little Princess Trust

Jennifer MacIver is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Hair cut to donate for wig making

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Hi I'm Aiden, I'm 13 and live in Aultbea, West Highlands. I've been growing my hair about 4 years and I'm now ready to give my hair to charity. The charity I've chosen is The Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions such as Alopecia.

The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

The Little Princess Trust relies solely on the generosity of its wonderful supporters who help the charity give Hair and Hope to so many children and young people with cancer each year.

It costs £550 to turn my hair into a wig and a further £150 to fit it for a child or young person.

I've loved having my long hair for these past 4 years, I can't imagine what it must be like to loose your hair. I'm happy that getting it cut means it will help someone.

I'll be getting my hair cut on Monday 27th July by Holly from Corporal Cuts in Aultbea. Holly is very kindly giving her time and expertise for free.

If you can donate a small amount to this worthy cause, I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
