Hi all

On 6th of October Kurtis will be running the Jersey marathon.

Kurt is running for a special little girl who is close to our hearts called Boe, who was born with Downs Syndrome. Boe is nearly 4 years old and is doing great! Funds raised will be split between the Jersey Child Care Trust and the Down Syndrome Association.

Jersey Child Care Trust support Boe daily at nursery to help her reach her milestones. The Jersey Child Care Trust provides a range of programmes and services for those that need it . One such programme in the Special Needs Inclusion Programme which provides specialist support so children with disabilities can go to nursery in Jersey enabling they to learn, play and have fun with their friends in an inclusive environment

DOWN SYNDROME ASSOCIATION

This charity supports parents by sharing information and creating opportunities for families to socialise and learn together. The charity arranges specific activities and works with others to increase awareness of Down Syndrome to improve the opportunities available to people with the condition in Jersey.
