Story
In April 2026, I’m taking on a huge personal challenge – I’ll be running (or quite possibly crawling!) the London Landmarks Half Marathon.
I’m doing this to raise money for Tommy’s, a charity that holds a very special place in my heart. They work tirelessly to make pregnancy and birth safer, and to support families facing some of the most painful and vulnerable moments of their lives.
If you’re able to donate – even the smallest amount – it genuinely means so much. Your support doesn’t just fund research; it gives families hope when they need it most. I can’t express how grateful I am for every bit of kindness that comes my way.
Becoming a parent is, for me, one of life’s greatest honours – something I treasure deeply. I’m incredibly aware of how fortunate I am, because I know that the road to parenthood can be filled with uncertainty, heartbreak, and loss. It doesn’t always unfold the way we dream it will.
I’ve known people who carry that heartbreak quietly, who navigate grief and unanswered questions silently and bravely. I’m running for them – for the families still hoping, still fighting, still waiting; and for those who have endured unimaginable loss and somehow found the strength to keep moving forward.
If putting one foot in front of the other for 13.1 miles can help even one family feel less alone, or help fund the research that creates healthier, happier beginnings, then it’s the very least I can do.
Every mile will be a challenge, but the thought that this run could bring comfort or hope to someone else will make every step worth it. Even the price of a coffee would mean the world if you’re able to donate.
Thank you so much for supporting me and helping Tommy’s continue their amazing work.
