Hello I'm Aimee, I have been chosen to take part in a Thriving Through Venture charity programme. I am hoping for sponsors to help me fund this potentially life changing trip to the Gambia. I have decided to take part in this programme because there are a lot of benefits including: Helping us to grow, gain self-confidence and an awareness of each other's cultures. We are planning activities to support the people of Gambia; I have decided to go help in the local primary school in Gambia. My outcome goal for this is helping them by providing educational resources whilst I spend time in the school, working with the children. There are also skills I can learn with my fellow Gambian partners. These skills are learning information about different society, country and other cultures. I will be blogging my trip which will portray my Gambia experiences. With my experiences from this trip, I would like to share my story and experiences in a different country. However, for me to share my story and experiences I must fundraise a minimum of £500, by the 12th May to pay for my time in the Gambia. Please help me to make a difference in the world and to continue to strengthen the link with Marlborough!It would change many lives!
