Aimee's London Marathon Challenge 2024

London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·
Scottie sadly ended his life as a result of child abuse trauma 16 years ago. A gentle giant with a big heart, he had friends in every pocket, even now people comment on his memorial page about how much they miss him and his gorgeous smile...
I ran the London Marathon in memory of my brother for the first time in October 2022, then again in April 2023 and I am proud to be able to do it again in April 2024 under a GFA place but still raising awareness for The NSPCC and the fantastic work they do.
Only 7 days after London Marathon, I will then be running the Norfolk Marathon, this time with Crabby in tow, who has been my shining beacon since Scott passed away; he has comforted my grief and made me smile.
I am hoping together we can raise £1,000 for this incredible charity who have been fighting to stop child abuse for over 100 years.
Every single penny of my fundraising is being committed to the 'Speak out. Stay safe.' programme, which educates children on abuse and what to do if they need help, specifically in the East Midlands where I grew up. You can find out more about this programme here:
