Story
I was very young when I found out about Neuroendocrine cancer, my dad got diagnosed back in January of 2019 when I was only 11 years old.
Neuroendocrine cancer is very uncommon which leads to it often being misdiagnosed leading to months or even longer periods of added stress, pain and strain in the body. I am wanting to raise money in order to bring more awareness to this type of cancer so that family’s like mine aren’t so in the dark in the beginning, so more people know about it and so more family’s can be helped and supported in a greater variety of ways, Supported in a way I wish we could have been.
I wish to bring awareness and help fund for more research so children like me have more of an understanding rather than just knowing your father has cancer.
Neuroendocrine Cancer UK exists to support and inform patients and families from diagnosis, enabling access to the best care and treatment, whilst stimulating Neuroendocrine Cancer research, increasing awareness.
