On Saturday 1st August at 11am, I’ll be walking around Southampton Common to raise money for Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) in memory of my mum, who we heartbreakingly lost at just 50.

TNBC is one of the deadliest forms of breast cancer. It grows fast, spreads early, and has far fewer treatment options than other types. There are no hormone therapies or targeted drugs — leaving women with limited, harsh treatments that often aren’t enough.

TNBC can double in size in weeks. It’s more likely to return, and when it does, it often comes back metastatic, which is usually fatal.

Survival drops from 91% when caught early to just 12% once it spreads.

This cancer takes women far too young, just like it took my mum.
