Team Spoons Great Manchester Run

Great Manchester Run 2024 · 26 May 2024 ·
After the traumatic premature births of both of our beautiful children, Spoons Charity has been a lifeline to us.
Both Leo and Amélie were born preterm and needed a number of medical interventions before being well enough to go home. As parents of poorly babies we felt completely lost, our lives changed forever, but Spoons Charity held our hand throughout the entire journey. Supporting us through the early days of neonatal intensive care, providing therapy support through our toughest days and introducing us to a community of like-minded parents with similar shared experiences: where would we be without them!
As a small, independent charity they are such a worthy cause and so deserving of any donation you could give. From Aimée, Jim, Leo and Amélie, we are so grateful for your support ❤️
Spoons’ team of skilled staff and volunteers help to reduce the stress, isolation and worry felt by families going through neonatal care in Greater Manchester. Through advice and information, peer support, trauma therapy, resource packs, support groups, advocacy, community activity groups and much more, Spoons offers the practical and emotional support needed by families experiencing neonatal care - www.spoons.org.uk.
