INFACT charity was started by two mums whose children were affected after harmful anti convulsant medication was prescribed to them and other mums with epilepsy (without giving any warning) throughout the entirety of their pregnancy.

The government regulators knowingly withheld the information about the risks as they did not wish to cause ‘unnecessary stress.” To women. The government have accepted responsibility for the harm caused to children

This negligence has sadly led to significant disabilities both physical, mental and developmental for the children who were subsequently born. Some of these children will require lifelong care.

The charity is massively under resourced and relies heavily on donations to continue to support and advocate for the children affected.

We are a small group of women who are mixed abilities some of us haven’t ever run a 10km but we are keen to raise awareness and hopefully some funds for our chosen charity.
