Story
I've decided to take on the challenge of running the Chester Marathon 2026, something I never thought I'd ever do! To be honest, the idea of running 26.2 miles always seemed a bit crazy to me. But when I was offered a place, I couldn't say no... and now here I am! The challenge feels even bigger because I've given myself just 63 days to get ready. Until recently, the furthest I'd ever run was 16K(now 18k). It's going to be a tough, I know that. Every mile will be worth it knowing that I have a reason and knowing I'm raising money for such a great cause, and any support or donation would mean the world to me.
I'm raising this money for the Georgia Fourie Butterfly Fund. This is a charity close to my heart and my school. The charity helps children with learning difficulties and disabilities at Holly Grove Primary School. The fund provides vital sensory and medical equipment, helps families facing difficult circumstances, and creates opportunities and experiences that make a lasting difference to the children's lives. In memory of Georgia Fourie, the charity continues to have a positive impact on so many families, and I'd love to help support its amazing work.
Any donation, big or small, would mean so much to me and to the children and families supported by the charity. Thank you for your support! ❤️
