Story

This year we are continuing to raise funds for the vital work that we are continuing to do within the highly deprived area of Shortlees, Kilmarnock. There have been enormous changes last year that have taken place. Our path network foundations are now in. 3 large sheds within the shed are now built. This will provide space for our Community woodworking shed, Community Kitchen, where volunteers can learn to cook what they have grown. The craft/social/training space has been established. The patio was also completed.

We are continuing to create a free food resource where individuals and groups can come, learn, relax and provide community/sustainable support network.

The polytunnels, geodome and composting toilet are about to be installed. Our volunteers are continuing to build the 80 raised beds and we intend to provide the local community larder with any additional food grown onsite.
