Help Us Help the Street Dogs of Sri Lanka – Support Our WECare Volunteer Trip
This October, we (Magda a Vet and Aimee a Vet Nurse) are heading to Sri Lanka to volunteer with WECare, an incredible charity providing vital veterinary care to the street dogs of the island.
Every day, thousands of dogs in Sri Lanka suffer from preventable diseases, injuries, and the challenges of overpopulation. WECare runs life-saving neutering and vaccination programmes to help control the stray population and reduce the spread of deadly diseases like rabies.
We’ll be volunteering for two weeks – doing as much hands-on veterinary work as possible to directly help animals in need.
We’re raising funds to support this mission, and here’s how your donation can make a real difference:
• £20 covers the cost of a spay or neuter, helping to prevent unwanted litters
• £5 provides a life-saving vaccine, protecting dogs from rabies and other infectious diseases
Every pound goes directly to helping animals on the ground.
We’re so excited to be part of this effort, but we need your help to make the biggest impact possible. Please consider donating – no amount is too small – and feel free to share our page to help us spread the word.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
