Story
I've always been a huge cat lover. And in 2025, I adopted my very own furry companion, Lilith, from The Stray Cat Club, and I can't imagine my life without her. She is playful, extremely affectionate, and at times very mischievous. Before Lilith found her forever home with me, she was a street cat, pregnant and afraid and surviving through the goodwill of people who lived nearby.
Some estimates suggest that there are as many as 900,000 stray cats in the UK. Some are born stray, some are lost, and some are cruelly abandoned by people who they have trusted to protect them.
Every cat deserves to experience love, comfort and safety.
The Stray Cat Club do incredible work in South East London providing care, support and shelter to stray and abandoned cats. They are a lifeline for vulnerable cats in the area providing critical medical care, rehabilitating sick and injured felines, and rehoming them with loving families.
Thanks to the tireless efforts of a small team, they have helped hundreds of cats already find a safe home and hope to help many more in the future.
