KELLY JOANNE's fundraiser for Lighthouse Charity

KELLY JOANNE ARMSTRONG is raising money for Lighthouse Charity

Team: Ainscough celebrates 50 years taking on The Way of the Roses

Way of the Roses 170 miles · 16 October 2026

Every working day in the UK two construction workers take their own life. We are the only charity providing emotional, physical and financial support to the construction community through our 24/7 Helpline.

Story

As we celebrate 50 years of achievement, a dedicated team of employees is taking on the Way of the Roses 170 miles cycle challenge, riding from Morecambe to Bridlington on 16 and 17th October 2026.

This personal cycling challenge is about more than the miles ahead. It is a chance to support the Lighthouse Charity, which is dedicated to the emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing of construction workers and their families. Through free proactive resources, a 24/7 confidential helpline, text HARDHAT support, and a self-support app, the charity offers vital help when it is needed most.

The Lighthouse Charity receives no public funding and relies on the industry to support its own. That is why every donation matters. We are asking you to support this challenge and help raise £500 towards a cause that makes a real difference to construction workers in need.

Please donate if you can, share the page, and help us turn every mile into meaningful support for those who need it most.
