Highland Cross 2024 - 40th Anniversary · 22 June 2024 ·

Highland Cross is a 50 mile duathlon (walking or running 20 miles and cycling 30 miles) across Scotland from Kintail to Beauly. The event is organised by volunteers to raise funds for charities across the Highlands. Since 1983, over £6.3m has been raised and distributed in full to deserving causes.

Story

Myself and my two friends Adam and Mark (The Aird Ranters) are undertaking the Highland Cross duathlon on June 22nd 2024. It's a challenging event - a 50-mile duathlon (20 miles on foot, 30 miles on bike) traversing the spectacular Scottish Highlands coast to coast, west to east from Kintail through Glen Affric and Strathglass to Beauly.

The Highland Cross charity supports local organisations that are so worthy of support, including The Highland Hospice.

Any spare pennies you might have would be much appreciated by our team, the Highland Cross Charity and the local groups who benefit from the support.
