AirPlus Sponsored 25KM Walk for Integrated Neurological Services · 16 September 2023

INS provides long-term rehabilitation and support for people with deteriorating neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis or who have suffered a Stroke. We help people to maintain their independence and achieve the optimum quality of life for them and their carers.

Story

At AirPlus, we are fundraising for the Integrated Neurological Services (INS) who are a local charity based in Twickenham. They cover the boroughs of Richmond and Hounslow and provide support for people living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, MS, Huntingdon’s disease and Stroke.

Individuals can rely greatly on INS for mental and physical support, in various forms including physio and speech therapy. Support is also provided for Carers, in the form of group therapy sessions.

INS are not funded by the Government and rely entirely on donations. They provide support for life that the NHS cannot post diagnosis. INS starts where the NHS leaves off.

It is safe to say that INS can be the difference between living or just surviving with a long-term neurological condition.

More information on INS can be found here: https://www.ins.org.uk/
