Asalaamualaykum, peace be upon you
As we have all seen, the images coming out of Gaza as a genocide unfolds before our eyes are truly devastating.
When we saw the first of the images of our brothers, sisters and children being killed, we had never seen anything like this in our lives. We are now over half a year into this genocide and over 35,000 people murdered. 15,000 of them children. 4 children an hour are murdered in Gaza. The situation in Gaza is getting worse day by day, but Alhamdulillah our team on the ground distributed over 500,000 hot meals in Gaza in Ramadan. They are getting aid in but it is not enough. We need to keep giving and keep fighting.
Back in October, I cried and begged God to let me be a means of help to the people of Gaza. As a mother of three the images, particularly of children, broke me and changed me in a way that will never be the same again. I look at my children and see them covered in rubble, I look at them with immense gratitude and so much guilt. They are safe, whilst our children in Gaza sleep under the sound of bombs. I cried myself to sleep for months and I begged God to use me as a vessel, in whatever way He sees befitting to come the aid of our brothers and sisters. I soon found myself a part of the Youth Front for Palestine, fighting for liberation with a group of youths I now call my family. You will see me at protests usually giving speeches and leading chants and raising awareness as well as charity.
My friend and I started the “Colour Manchester for Palestine” project where we did window art on shop/business windows across Manchester and the North of England to raise money for Gaza. Through this we raised over £7000 Alhamdulillah.
I then sponsored 4 orphans in Palestine and one in Syria Alhamdulillah.
Then I found out about the deployments to help Palestinan refugee families living in Lebanon. My husband decided to fundraise for deployment and I helped him to reach his target through online fundraising including art auctions. Together, since October, we have raised over £12,000 for Gaza.
He has now reached his target and booked his place to go on deployment inshallah (God willing) and now I will begin my journey to fundraise to go on deployment and distribute aid directly to Palestinian and Syrian refugees living in dire conditions in camps in Lebanon. We will show you every step of our journey and will dedicate the rest of our lives to humanitarian work inshallah.
Even £1 in donation makes a difference to the people of Gaza who are now facing a forced famine, dying of starvation as well the hell that rains down upon them and living in the most dangerous place on earth. Please donate with an open heart and share with your friends and family.
May Allah reward you and accept it from me and you.

The prophet (peace be upon him) said:
”A man’s true wealth is the good he does in this world”
Do not feel ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to refuse the needy is an act of greater shame.
- (Imam Ali from Nahjul Balagha)
”Do not feel ashamed if the amount of charity is small because to refuse the needy is an act of greater shame. (Imam Ali from Nahjul Balagha)
“Charity does not decrease wealth, no one forgives another except that Allah increases his honor, and no one humbles himself for the sake of Allah except that Allah raises his status.”
Sahih Muslim 2588
