In 2021, I met a wonderful couple named Betty & Chris. Beautiful Betty sadly passed away a few months later but I continued to visit Chris and we developed a wonderful relationship. Chris was a loving and kind-hearted man with an amazing nature and love for everyone he met. Chris sadly and suddenly passed away in December 2023 and although it wasn’t from Alzheimer’s, he’d struggled with it for years and the last few months were heart wrenching to watch him suffer. Chris was a huge part of my life and therefore this jump is in his memory, a few days after what would be his 82nd birthday. As well as Chris, this is for all the hundreds diagnosed with Alzheimer’s (or a form of) every day. Sending love to all the families and of course, Chris’s beautiful family in this sad time.
